Healing US shares the heartrending stories of Scott Desnoyers and Amy Vilela, parents who each lost a child to easily treated health conditions that were not treated because of a lack of insurance. Through interviews with experts in many fields, Healing US demonstrates that a comprehensive single-payer health care system would prevent such tragedies and save Americans money.
